Insurance Claim Help

Storm and hail damage, documented properly.

Ayuda con reclamos de seguro

When hail or high wind hits, the damage is not always obvious from the ground. We inspect, photograph, and document the conditions so you can file with real information instead of guesses.

Clear about our role: the claim is yours to file and your insurance company decides it. Rhino Builders does not adjust, negotiate, or guarantee any claim outcome. We document your property accurately and give you the records.

The documentation process

1. Stay safe first

Do not walk a roof after a storm, especially if you suspect hail damage or a soft deck. Photograph what you can see safely from the ground — dents in gutters and downspouts, damaged vents, cracked or displaced trim, and granules collecting at downspout splash areas.

2. Start your photo record

Take wide photos of each side of the roof from the ground, then closer photos of anything damaged. Note the date of the storm and where water is showing up inside. A dated record carries far more weight than a memory reconstructed later.

3. Write down what changed

Note where water is entering and when it started, which rooms are affected, and anything that was not damaged before the storm. If you saw the storm damage occur, write that down too.

4. Get a professional inspection

We inspect the roof, photograph the conditions, and give you a written description of what we found and what repair the damage actually requires. That documentation is yours to share with your insurance company.

5. File and keep your records

Keep your photos, your notes, the inspection documentation, and every communication from your insurer. If the scope of work is revised, keep the revised documents with the originals.

What we give you

  • • Photographs of the roof and the damaged areas, taken during our inspection.
  • • A written description of the conditions we observed, in plain language.
  • • A written estimate for the repair or replacement the damage requires.
  • • Notes on anything we could not fully assess without removing material.

What we do not do

  • • We do not file your claim for you.
  • • We do not adjust, appraise, or negotiate a claim on your behalf.
  • • We do not promise a coverage outcome or a specific payout.
  • • We do not recommend waiving your deductible — that is your decision and your responsibility.

Why documentation matters

A claim is only as strong as its record. Insurers ask when the damage happened, what was affected, and what repair the damage requires. If all of that exists only as a description from memory weeks later, the claim is much harder to support.

Photos taken at the right time, plus a written description of the conditions, answer those questions with evidence. That is the entire point of what we provide.

If the damage is repaired before it is documented, the record is gone. Call us before anything is cleaned up or repaired.
